This ePortfolio documents my learning and reflections on a selection of the course content for EDUC_5990_08 Educational Technology in Curriculum, using WordPress. The use of technology in the curriculum is of particular interest to me as I’ve seen how my daughters have increasingly used technology for learning as they have progressed through their elementary education. During Covid-19, when we were based in the UK, we went through two prolonged lockdown periods. Using technology for “home-learning” (MS Teams, Zoom, Google Drive, Email, plus printer/scanner) was the only way at the time to access education for our daughters and keep them connected with their teachers and classmates. We even had a zoom birthday party in 2020 during the first lockdown!

What is an ePortfolio?
An ePortfolio is a useful tool for students to collect and showcase their learning over time. The technology can be used to make connections between different content and media types; to collect course-related work; and to provide a basis for assessment of learning.
